These terms govern your use of tmbplanner.comand the services provided by HikingFriends DK ("TMB Planner", "we", "us"). By using the site you agree to these terms.

1. Services Overview

TMB Planner provides:

• Free tools — interactive itinerary planner, fitness test, stage calculator, blog content, and refuge information
• TMB Planning Session (€29) — 45-minute personalised consultation covering route strategy, accommodation, gear, and logistics
• Full TMB Concierge Package (€59) — planning session plus a custom PDF itinerary, GPX files, gear checklist, budget breakdown, accommodation contacts, and an 8-week training plan
• Booking Assistance — refuge and accommodation booking, travel logistics, luggage transfers, and on-trek support

2. Bookings & Payment

• All paid services are arranged via email at info@hikingfriends.dk. We do not process credit card payments on this website.
• Prices are in Euros (€) and include all applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
• Booking assistance fees are quoted on a per-request basis depending on group size and complexity.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

• Consulting sessions: Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the scheduled call. No-shows are non-refundable.
• Concierge package: Full refund if cancelled before deliverables are sent. Partial refund at our discretion after delivery.
• Booking assistance: Free cancellation up to 30 days before the trek start date. Cancellations within 30 days are subject to any non-refundable fees charged by refuges or third-party providers.

4. Free Planning Tools

The interactive planner, fitness test, stage calculator, and blog are provided free of charge, "as is". While we strive for accuracy:

• Trail conditions, refuge availability, and prices may change without notice
• Elevation, distance, and time estimates are approximate and vary by individual fitness
• Always verify refuge availability directly before your trek
• The fitness test provides general guidance — it is not medical advice

5. Your Responsibilities

• Hiking the Tour du Mont Blanc involves inherent risks including altitude, weather, terrain, and physical exertion. You are responsible for assessing your own fitness and preparedness.
• We strongly recommend appropriate travel and hiking insurance covering mountain rescue, trip cancellation, and medical emergencies.
• You are responsible for obtaining any required travel documents, visas, or permits for France, Italy, and Switzerland.
• Information you provide in forms must be accurate. We are not liable for issues arising from incorrect details.

6. Limitation of Liability

TMB Planner provides planning guidance and booking facilitation. We are not a tour operator, travel agency, or mountain guide.

• We are not liable for refuge cancellations, weather disruptions, trail closures, or changes made by third-party providers
• We are not liable for injury, loss, or damage arising from your trek
• Our total liability for paid services shall not exceed the amount you paid us

7. Intellectual Property

All content on tmbplanner.com — including text, images, maps, blog posts, itinerary templates, and design — is owned by HikingFriends DK. You may use generated itineraries and GPX files for personal, non-commercial purposes.

8. Newsletter

By subscribing to our newsletter, you consent to receive periodic emails about TMB planning tips, updates, and offers. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in each email or by emailing us.

9. Privacy

Your data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Denmark. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Copenhagen, Denmark.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
